Halloween Costume Contest Oct. 31

As for the main event, there will be a costume contest on Monday, October 31. Students can wear their Halloween costumes to school on this day, and there will be a costume contest at both lunches! Winners will be determined based on the most original, the scariest, and the best

overall costume, so keep these in mind while making your costume!

Costume Guidelines

  • Avoid excessive gore
  • No weapons
  • Nothing that promotes the use of illegal substances or activities

Costumes may not be derogatory or disrespectful. Please follow this link to learn more about why culture should not be a costume. Unsure if your costume meets these requirements? Please see Principal Irwin or Vice Principal Simon.

Have fun and come to school dressed in your favorite Halloween costume!

ASB Fundraiser 10/25-11/15 - Cookie Dough

The ASB class is responsible for conducting our monthly spirit days. Most recently they organized Western Day where students dressed up in their favorite western wear and participated in fun lunch activities such as horse racing, ring toss, and western dancing..all while listening to music!

These events are made possible by our ASB fundraising activities. The Dana ASB is conducting a Mrs. Field’s Cookie Dough Fundraiser. Proceeds will be used for upcoming spirit days, dances, field day, and other fun activities throughout the school year. You can even order online! Cookie Dough order forms will be sent home on Tuesday, October 25th. Ask your child for the form and purchase cookie dough for your friends and family. Orders are due Tuesday, November 15th. Orders will arrive in time for the winter holidays. More information to come!
