Dana Yearbooks For Sale Online!

Dana Middle has implemented a new online program for purchasing school-related items such as yearbooks and lost textbooks. The system is called School Cash Online and is approved by the SDUSD Finances Department. Parents must register for a School Cash Online account. The account will follow the student as they matriculate to Correia and Point Loma High School.

Dana families can reserve their copy of our 2021-22 yearbook using this system. Yearbooks are on sale for $32.00. Click this link for more information!

Parents wishing to use a traditional method for ordering yearbooks can contact Scott Irwin at [email protected] for information on paying with cash or a check. Checks should be made payable to Dana Middle School ASB.

Students can also use this system to pay for lost textbooks. Please contact Marta Thiele ([email protected]) with questions.

Feb. 7th Math Meeting Follow-Up

We would like to thank Aly Martinez and Brad Callihan for sharing information with staff and parents during the February 7th PLCSF meeting on various district math initiatives.

  1. The powerpoint and FAQ are both accessible on the home page (at the bottom) of our SDEM Community Website
  2.  Our google form for community feedback is now working. You can access our form through the tab on our community website, also.

There was a request to return with a follow up session or sessions and to adjust our session to family audiences. Thank you for that feedback. Once we have visited all clusters by mid-March, we should be able to follow up the PLCSF to see if there is an interest in followup meetings.

Feb. 18th. and 22nd. Holiday - No School

School will be closed on Friday, February 18th and Monday February 22nd to honor President’s Day. Originally established in 1885 in recognition of President George Washington, the holiday became popularly known as Presidents' Day after it was moved as part of 1971’s Uniform Monday Holiday Act. Presidents' Day is now popularly viewed as a day to celebrate all U.S. presidents, past and present.
