Wellness Hotline

Dear San Diego Unified Family,

As we continue prioritizing wellness and well-being in our school communities, we are pleased to announce the launch of the San Diego Unified Health & Wellness Hotline. This resource will serve as a hub for students, staff, and families to call for information and connections to community, health and district resources.

The Health & Wellness Hotline, 760-334-7878, is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. It will be closed on District holidays.

Students, staff, and families are encouraged to use this hotline for a range of support, resources, and referrals. Hotline staff will keep your conversations confidential and can connect you to neighborhood specific resources for a range of needs, including food, clothing, and housing assistance; health insurance; general medical and dental care services; wellbeing resources; district support and more.

We recommend saving the number 760-334-7878 to your phone, and visiting our website sandiegounified.org/hotline for more information.

Fundraisers - Please support ASB!

At lunch time students will have an opportunity to purchase a treat to raise money for student activities.  Here is the weekly schedule for lunchtime sales:

Wednesdays- Dippin’ Dots, $4/each.  Money raised will support ASB student activities.

Thursdays- Ice Cream Sandwiches, $2/each. Money raised will support the Music Club.

Fridays- Kona Ice, $4/each. Money raised will support ASB student activities.

Thank you for your support!

Lost and Found

The lost and found is located in the cafeteria.  Right now there are over a dozen water bottles, eight lunch boxes, 10 jackets and sweatshirts, and even hats!  A pair of eyeglasses was also found.  Those can be picked up in the front office.  Items will only be kept in the lost and found for about two weeks before being donated to charity.  We just don’t have the space to keep everything!  Please have your students check the lost and found for their missing items.

9/27: FoDaC Family Dinner Night at Whomp Burger & Brew

Gather the fam, eat the burgers, raise the money.  Dine in or order takeout, online or via phone on Wednesday, Sept. 27, and a percentage of sales go directly to our school if you mention DANA MIDDLE School when you place the order.
