Supporting Veterans with Young and Elementary School Age Children Dec. 15th
The Military Child Education Coalition is offering an excellent webinar entitled Supporting Veterans with Young and Elementary School Age Children. This webinar focuses on Young children that may have difficulty understanding the changes when a parent leaves the military. This is an opportunity to learn about how to reduce the stress children experience during a family’s transition out of the service. The webinar will be held on December 15 at 9am and I am attaching the information along with the registration link. This is a great professional development opportunity that will assist with dealing with military children. As always please feel reach out to me with any questions and concerns. FODaC Really Needs Your Support!
"Giving Tuesday" is rapidly approaching and we wanted to try and rally more support for Friends of Dana and Correia (FODaC) Association. Our goal is to raise $30,000 this year and so far we are woefully short of that with only three donations totalling $700. The parents of Dana and Correia can do better than that! Your support provides grants for teachers, pays for after school Homework Club for students, and supports ASB activities. Anything you can do to help support our schools is appreciated. We do not have a parent volunteer to run this campaign so our President been doing what she can with very limited time and resources... We can use the help obviously :-) Thank You!
