IMPORTANT: This article was updated on 4/22/22 to represent delays caused by technical issues at the state level. All dates below are accurate.

Every year, California students take several statewide tests. Over the next 6 weeks, your child may be taking one or more of the following: California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP), English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC), and Physical Fitness Test assessments.

You are an important part of your child’s education. To help your child get ready for the test you can:

Reminding your student to bring their district issued computer, charger, and headphones on testing dates.

Talk about the test with your child. Make sure they are not scared or anxious.

Make sure your child gets a good night’s sleep and a nutritious breakfast before testing.

Please see the table below for information on exact testing dates.
