Update To District COVID & Mask Policy

Students, staff and any other individuals on school grounds will no longer be required to wear masks outdoors, effective Feb. 16, 2022. The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) guidance that takes effect Feb. 16 does not apply to indoor settings at schools. The indoor mask mandate, which has been a cornerstone of the state’s COVID-19 strategy since the start of the school year, remains state law and in effect for all students and staff. All staff, students and other individuals on district property, including all schools and central offices, must continue to wear a proper-fitting mask while indoors at all times, except when working alone in a private room or office with the door closed.

There has been no change to the policy since our communication to parents on January 18th. We will continue to keep parents informed regarding any changes to this policy. Click this link to view the January 18th article and to view the generic COVID letters for parents.
