7. Log Into My Classes
Logging into your virtual classrooms is easy! Follow the directions below.
- Review your schedule to find the name of your teacher and the class period.
- Make sure you have Chrome installed on your computer and are logged into your school google account. Your account name is [email protected] - (replace xxxxxx with your student ID) and your password is the same password you use to login to your school computer or PowerSchool. Follow this link to watch a video tutorial if you need help.
- Go to the Our Staff section of our website and look for your teacher.
- Click on the Virtual Classroom link under your teacher's name.
- Click the link to the period of the class you are looking for.
- Click the Zoom link to login to your class Zoom meeting.
Notice how the classroom has a link to Google Classroom as well. You will use this link to enter the learning management system for your class.
HELPFUL TIP! - You will use the same Zoom link and Google Classroom link each day. Bookmark each of your virtual classroom period pages because you will visit them often!
Why do I have to login to my school google account? - This is a very important step because you will use google docs, sheets, and presentations in class. Also, teacher Zoom meetings are set up to block non-students. By logging into Google with your student google account, you are letting Zoom know you are a student at Dana Middle School.
